BCS Membership

The British Computer Council Membership sets an industry recognised “Code of Conduct” and “Code of Practice” that as IT professionals we have volunteered to follow.

These codes cover many aspects of how we conduct our work including duties of care, conflicts of interest, competence, confidentiality and legal compliance. Membership is limited to those professionals who have sufficient academic qualifications to meet the BCS stringent requirements.
