The Solution

Within a short space of time, a new network was installed and configured, giving an immediate noticeable improvement to the working lives of Sandpiper’s employees. The system included:

• Centralised network management via a windows 2000 server.
• The implementation of their own internal email server giving each employee access to their own email account.
• The provision of shared folders so that information could be shared.
• The provision of shared resources such as network printers to remove the need for each terminal to have its own individual printer.
• Centralised Ant-Virus management.
• Network based Accounting Software System.

The Result

The productivity of each employee has increased significantly, allowing the company to grow the turnover without the need of extra headcount.
